An eastern Kentucky welfare office was destroyed by fire early Tuesday morning.
It happened in Elliott County, Kentucky.
The office is located on Route 7 in Little Sandy.
Flames leapt several feet into the night sky.
Ambulance dispatchers told NewsChannel 3 that firefighters battled the fire for hours before putting it out around 4:30 Tuesday morning.
The cause of the fire has not been released.
