ArenaCross Comes to Huntington

Most kids spend the weekend playing video games, watching movies or just hanging out with friends, there are some that fly through the air.

The Huntington ArenaCross championships were held February 10th and 11th at the Big Sandy Superstore Arena.

Dennis Coe helped his 8 year old son Garret get ready to ride. He’s just one of the many young racers that took part in the event.

Many of the families come from out of town to compete. It isn’t unusual to spend up to $4500 on a bike, plus hundreds more on safety equipment, gas, travel expenses and entry fees.

But for these families, they say spending time together is well worth it.
