A social worker is charged with giving alcohol to underage girls.
Kentucky State Police say Ruth Horn of Louisa, Kentucky, had a party at her house on January 27.
They say Horn bought and served alcohol to girls as young as 15-years-old.
The ages ranged from 15 to 18.
The charges are four counts of third-degree unlawful transaction with a minor.
Each count carries a jail sentence of up to one year.
Trooper Elliott Gollihue said the girls were friends and acquaintances of Horn's, not teens she had come into contact with during the course of her job.
She was arrested February 11.
Horn resigned her social worker position earlier this week.
