UC Dropping Some Sports

The University of Charleston just announced that it is dropping men's track and field at the end of this school year.
U.C. will also phase out cross country over the next two years.
It is a move to create more equity between men's and women's sports in Charleston.
It also follows the resolution of a complaint with the Office of Civil Rights.
The school says it is not feasible to add more women's sports, so the only answer was to take away some of the men's sports to create the equality.
