A jury has found Levon Flournoy guilty of Murder in the First Degree Without Mercy. He will be automatically sentenced to life in prison.
He now faces life in prison.
In a taped confession, Flournoy admitted to shooting his former girlfriend Victoria West.
However, he argued that she had a pattern of mental abuse against him that led up to the shooting.
This shooting happened at a home on Crestmont Drive in Huntington in 2005.
