Police say drugs are definitely involved but say they don't think the victim was dealing or using. That sentiment continues with Travis Huff's family, they are speaking out -- saying Travis was not the type to be associated with drugs.

NewsChannel 3's Brooke Thacker spoke with Huff's fiance and the mother of his two children Sara Bartley. Bartley says she thought it would help if Travis' accused killers were caught but she feels no relief.

Sara Bartley and Travis Huff were high school sweethearts. Together for nearly 11 years, they have two children Chloe and Hunter. Now Sara says she has to learn to be a single mother.

"Now my kids have to grow up without a daddy, and that's not fair to them."

While investigators aren't calling Travis Huff a drug dealer or even a user, they believe he may have been shopping for someone else.

Sara doesn't see it that way:

"Travis would not risk his kids for drugs."

As for the two men in custody:

"They didn't have to shoot him. They could have let him go. They just did it out of pure evil...they're just evil people."

Sara says she's thankful that when the surveillance video came out, someone was brave enough to call police and turn them in. Sara says she plans on attending every day Blevins and Evans are in court. She say she doesn't want them to forget the family Travis left behind.
