A jury has cleared a former teacher of two charges that he sexually harassed six students at Capital High School in Charleston. Jurors could not come to a decision on the remaining four charges against Tyrone Persinger, so the judge declared a mistrial on those counts.

The judge and the attorneys involved will meet on Thursday to decide whether Persinger will be re-tried on the remaining four charges. Six teenage girls testified that Persinger groped them and said inappropriate things to them during the 2003-2004 school year.
