West Virginia Legislators laughed at themselves Monday night in a special roast at the Cultural Center. Performers even set the state's new motto, "Open for Business" to the popular song, "Taking Care of Business."
It's all in the tradition of Third House, where members of the media who cover the Capitol take to the stage to poke a little fun at lawmakers.
This year: no one was immune. They poked fun at the governor, the new speaker of the house, even the cockroach problem at the cafeteria. Third House raises money for Marshall University's School of Journalism.
