Armed Robbery Suspect Arrested

Troopers say it was a stroke of luck that they pulled over a man matching the description in a pharmacy robbery.

The robbery happened Tuesday evening at the Rite Aid in Marmet.

Late Wednesday night, Chesapeake (WV) Police pulled over a car for having a burned out tail light. During the traffic stop, State Police recognized the man in the car as the suspect pictured in the store's surveillance video. They say he was even wearing the same hooded sweatshirt.

Troopers say Davis traded the 14-thousand dollars worth of Oxytontin for crack cocaine. He's being charged with armed robbery.

Davis' wife: Christina Davis, is being charged with illegal possession of a prescription drug.

Troopers are checking to see if Davis is behind other recent pharmacy robberies.
