The man accused of impersonating a police officer and terrorizing a homeowner in Boyd County, Kentucky, went to court Friday morning.
Police say Adam Justice and Robert Chapman went into the house on Route 5 and tied up Jason Daniels.
Daniels got free and shot and killed Chapman.
On Friday, Justice waived a formal hearing and entered a not guilty plea.
It means he'll have another hearing next week.
Daniels was not injured in the attack.
He said he fired the gun after seeing the intruders pull a gun.
