A newspaper is reporting that Congressman Alan Mollohan's finances are the target of a grand jury investigation.
Citing sources close to the investigation, The Dominion Post in
Morgantown says in Saturday's editions that the grand jury will examine whether the veteran congressman failed to
disclose source of income.
According to the newspaper, witnesses have been subpoenaed by
the U-S attorney for the District of Columbia to appear before the
grand jury on April Third.
Mollohan has denied any wrongdoing. He says he was unaware of
the grand jury investigation and had not been subpoenaed.
