Sandy Brae To Stay a Golf Course

After two auctions, the Kanawha County Parks and Rec has finally sold the Sandy Brae Golf Course.

They decided to accept the $650-thousand bid from Scott Pierson.

Pierson plans to keep the golf course open.

He was able to purchase the property after Kanawha County Commissioners decided not accept a $700-thousand bid during the first auction.

The commission plans to recognize the sale during a public meeting.
