Police put a stop to an early-morning crime spree on Huntington's south side.

Officers arrested two men from Lawrence County, Ohio, Tuesday.

They're accused of breaking into homes and cars on 12th and 13th Avenues.

Police charged Brian Lane from South Point, and Nick Fisher of Chesapeake with multiple felony charges.

Police say Layne is also a fugitive from justice after a violent gun crime in Florida.

Officers say the two men had already stolen several items when they caught up with them after a chase.

Neighbors are relieved they've been caught.

Police in Florida plan to extradite Layne to face charges of aggravated battery with a firearm.
