Workers at Appalachian Region Hospital in South Williamson, Kentucky, spent the day setting up tents---and preparing for a strike. But they're hoping they can strike an eleventh hour deal.
If a deal is not reached by the time the clock strikes midnight Saturday, 2800 workers plan to walk off the job. In the event that happens, the nine hospitals affected say contingency plans are in place.
A union representative says the union will no extend the current contract, and if no agreement is in place, his workers will walk.
