GALLIPOLIS, Ohio (WSAZ) -- The Ohio Valley Symphony is celebrating 20 years and, this weekend, a prominent local figure is celebrating a big birthday.

Jewell Evans, widow of Bob Evans, is turning 90. To honor her, the orchestra invited two special guests.

Debra Harder started playing the piano when she was 6, but became a doctor. After practicing for several years, she went back to school for music and is now a nationally acclaimed concert pianist. David Kim is a concert master for the Philadelphia Symphony. He started playing violin when he was 3, practicing five hours a day and sacrificing his childhood. But, both say they couldn't be happier.

“I’m so excited about playing at this small, intimate theater in Gallipolis," Kim said. "It will be such a different experience than these giant music halls we encounter around the world."

Both Kim and Harder will perform with the Ohio Valley Symphony at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Ariel Ann Carson Dater Performing Arts Centre in Gallipolis.

Who, what, where, when and why were answered. The last HOW much? Ticket information? Who wants to schlep over there to find out the tickets are overpriced or sold out?
