CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The mother of a Charleston Man shot and killed by Charleston Police Officers has filed a lawsuit in Kanawha County Circuit Court.
Patricia Harrison told WSAZ.com Saturday night that her attorney filed a wrongful death lawsuit Friday.
Harrison's son, Brian Good, lead police on a chase outside of Charleston city limits in September.
Police say that Good was using his truck as a deadly weapon when he rammed it into police cruisers. That’s when police fired fatal shots at Good.
Charleston Police Officer Jerry Jones also died that night as a result of friendly fire.
An investigation by the Kanawha County Sheriff's Department has cleared the Charleston Police officers involved in the shooting of any wrong-doing.
Harrison says that right now all she can do is confirm the suit has been filed and that she will make a comment at a later date.

The Grand Jury meets now twelve times a year instead of 6 for speedy resolution of trials for the criminal's own good and the victim. The ones you read about are only for the crimes she committed that was known about - her hubby has numerous charges he has to answer to also. Everything is not a conspiracy by the City - if anything, the city would be 'laying low if possible on anything involving the 'purported' witness for Good just so what is being said COULD NOT BE BROUGHT UP. point being Good was hanging with well known criminals and hoodlums, drug addicts liars and thieves - so why would anybody think he was different?? Records can be found at courthouse for these folks - it's not made up. how so many can think that it was JUST FINE for Good not to pull over when indicated so by the police astounds me - by law even if they aren't aftr you, you are to pull to the right when hearing any type of siren to let them pass. So did Good have something to run from?
Are we supposed to be surprised that she has had these indictments brought up now? This is what I call "trashing the character of the witness". I am not fooled a bit. Shame on those "good ole boys".
an update re: the passenger in Good's car who will probably be the "star witness" in Brian Good's suit against the city. Indicted: Natasha N. Light, 24, of Charleston, fraud and related activity in connection with an access device, attempted fraud and related activity in connection with an access device, petit larceny, burglary and prescription fraud; Now I'm sure she'd make a good witness huh?
