CEREDO, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The men and women of our armed forces put their lives on the line every day.
Folks in Ceredo showed their support by celebrating Veterans Day a little early.
They lined the streets Saturday morning as fire trucks turned on their lights, kids got to grab candy, and everyone had a chance to show a little American pride.
Current day military personnel, marching bands, and some classic cars made their way through town, but the most important thing there was honor and pride for those who serve and protect.
"This day means a lot to me because they shared what courage they had in the Marine Corps and any branch they served,” Hunter Bourgeris of the Marines said. “It’s an honor for me to follow in their footsteps and do what they did and have a chance to serve and be part of their legacy."
