BARBOURSVILLE, W.Va. (WSAZ) – When it comes to donating toys during the holidays, the rules have changed a bit.
In fact, there are not as many toys as there used to be because of certain safety specifications, including banning toys with small parts that a child could swallow.
Goodwill Industries has stores throughout our region, and toy donation guidelines may vary a bit from store to store. It is best to check to see specifically what your local location will allow you to donate or buy.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission constantly updates its list of what it considers unsafe toys. Checking that list is as easy as visiting our Featured Links here at WSAZ.com to help you make an informed decision.
