LAWRENCE COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) -- Tackling the obesity problem is no simple task, but now the push is on to stop the problem where it starts -- in childhood.
A new coalition of businesses and health-care advocates is making a push in Ohio for statewide standards designed to make Ohio students healthier.

The bill could also require schools to offer healthier food and drink choices and even require body-mass-index screenings for students entering 3rd, 5th and 9th grades. The Healthy Kids, Healthy Choices bill is now being debated in the Ohio house and senate.
