HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (AP) - Appalachian Power is dealing with two fairly large power outages Monday morning.
One affects Huntington, where spokesman Phil Moye says about four-thousand customers lost electric service at about 10:30 a-m.
Moye says more than four-thousand customers have lost power in Lincoln County as well.
For now, he says it's uncertain why the lights went out in either place though high winds are a possiblity.
Allegheny Power, the state's other big electric utility, is reporting scattered outages affecting about eleven-hundred customers.
