Local Students Hold Vigil

Students at Shawnee State University remembered the victims of Monday's deadly shooting rampage at Virginia Tech with a candlelight vigil Tuesday evening.

Dozens of students showed up Tuesday evening in Portsmouth to pray and reflect on the deadly events at Virginia Tech. Campus groups organized a candlelight vigil. Students we spoke with said they felt a connection with the Virginia Tech students and thought it was important to gather and reflect on their passing.
