CANNONSBURG, KY (WSAZ)-Families in Cannonsburg need to boil water before drinking it. A fire hydrant leak is being repaired so some families are without water.

The Cannonsburg Water District issued a boil water advisory Sunday.
This advisory is for customers in the Shopes Creek area from the Dale Renee Mobile Home Park to 3248 Shopes Creek including Edgewood Drive.

When water service returns, customers need to bring water to a rolling boil for at least one minute before using it to drink or brush teeth until further notice.
