CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A woman from Charleston faces criminal charges after police allegedly found ingredients to make meth in her home.

According to the criminal complaint, an officer searched the home of Brittney Nicole Vance, 19, of Charleston, and found ingredients used to manufacture meth in a bedroom of the house. Police say they also found an inactive meth lab in the basement.

The bust happened Tuesday on Carson Street in Charleston.

Vance was arraigned on the charges in Kanawha County Magistrate Court on Friday. The magistrate set her bond at $2,000.

If convicted, Vance faces one to five years behind bars.

Vance is scheduled to appear in court on December 4 for her preliminary hearing.
