HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) – As families throughout our region are getting ready for their Thanksgiving feast, the kitchen has become the nerve center in homes everywhere.
The oven's going, the mixer's mixing, the refrigerator's overloaded and, most importantly, hearts are full.
Tonia Page of Huntington was gracious enough to let us in on her Thanksgiving preparations Wednesday. In less than 24 hours, she will be hosting nearly 50 people for dinner.
"God has blessed me," she said. "I suffer with diabetes, high blood pressure, fibromyalgia, arthritis, migraines. Some days I function, some days I don't. Every day, I'm thankful."
Meanwhile, if you've forgotten to thaw your Thanksgiving turkey or still haven't bought it, there's hope. It’s a sort of "Thanksgiving for Dummies" turkey talk phone line.
The Butterball turkey folks will be taking your calls Thursday. Since they opened the hotline earlier in the month, they've already received plenty of calls and are expecting about 55,000 callers on Thursday.

Ms. Tonia K Page is a Angel sent from Heaven to me. She is like the mom I never had. I called Ms Tonia to let her know I saw her on the news online. We was talking and the subject came up that me and my babys wont be able to have thanksgiving. Without hesitation she said" I have a extra turkey, come over and get it for you and your babys. I went to pick up the turkey and she had me some sweet taters made up as well. Ms Tonia K is a true witness of God and unconditional love. I wish there was more Tonie Page's in the world. Or even in Huntington. God Bless you Ms. Tonia and thanks for giving me and my baby our First thanksgiving. This is the first year we get to celebrate. I love you
