UPDATE: Names Released in Apparent Murder-Suicide
Police in Chapmanville say the apparent murder-suicide is a "shock to everyone."

UPDATE Thursday at 8:00pm
CHAPMANVILLE, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Chapmanville Police say the victims of the apparent murder-suicide are Otis Bowling and his long-time wife Emma Lou Bowling.
Police say Otis was in his 80s and Emma Lou was in her 70s. They say the two had been married for a long time.
Sgt. D.A. Browning with the Chapmanville police says the apparent murder-suicide is a "shock to everyone."
He says the family isn't aware of anything that would have caused a fight between the couple. Sgt. Browning also says they were good people living in a quiet community.

CHAPMANVILLE, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The woman who was shot Wednesday night along Bowling Alley in Chapmanville, W.Va., has now died.
WSAZ.com called Charleston Area Medical Center Thursday afternoon to check on her condition.
Police have not released the woman's name yet.

LOGAN COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A man died in the double shooting in Chapmanville, and a woman has been flown to an area hospital.
Emergency responders say the incident appears to be an attempted murder-suicide.
No other details have been released, but we have a crew on the scene.

ORIGINAL STORY
LOGAN COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Two people were shot Wednesday night along Bowling Alley in Chapmanville, Logan County 911 dispatchers say.
They were taken to a local hospital with unknown injuries, and the search for the person responsible is underway.
Dispatchers say the shootings happened around 8:30 p.m. The victims' conditions are not being released.
No other details are being released, but we will update you here at WSAZ.com as we get more information.

no wsaz did not change the headline....i was over in the alley when all this took place wed. night around 8:30 and i checked wsaz when i got home about 10:30pm and the headline said apparent attempted murder-suicide....i do know what im talking about but maybe you should take the time to read before you post
