HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (AP) - Even though no injuries were reported and it was extinguished quickly, Huntington officials say they took Monday morning's report of a fire at Steel of West Virginia very seriously.
Deputy Fire Chief Terry Berry says it's a major factory with a lot of people and covers a large area.
Monday morning's fire, which broke out a little before 8 o'clock, was a grease fire in a concrete pit.
Berry says the fire was put out with about 500 gallons of water.
No major damage was reported, and the plant is in operation.
