A man died after crashing his car into a tree early Saturday morning in Kanawha County.

The Kanawha County Sheriff's Department says Dustin Frank Healy, 20 of Charleston, was heading north on Campbells Creek Drive near Mary Ingles School when he lost control, slid off the road, and hit a tree.

Healy was pronounced dead at the scene.

Deputies say Healy was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash -- and they believe speed was a factor in the accident.
