A robber held up a busy pizza shop on 13th street and Blackburn avenue in broad daylight Monday. Customers at the Little Caesar's say it was a frightening few minutes they'll never forget.

It's not everyday you witness a robbery when you stop by to pick up a pizza after school. That's a mother outside in her minivan decided to take some action.

In fact, Carol Bryan and her boys and the employees at Little Caesar's in Ashland were so sure the man didn't have a gun they chased him out of the store and watched him hop a fence. When police arrived though, they weren't taking any chances as they went house to house.

The robber ended up dropping some of the loot from the hold-up. That was recovered by police, but the people who witnessed the event may never recover their sense of safety for something as simple as ordering pizza.

The suspect is described as:

- a white male

- 6'0

- 200 pounds

- with slight facial hair

- last seen wearing black jeans, a long sleeved black t-shirt, black work boots and white bandanna

- he had visible scrape or scar on the right side of face
