Judge Loses Battle With Disease

A well-known community leader in Ironton, Ohio, has died.

Judge Frank McCown died Wednesday from lymphoma.

He had been battling the disease for awhile.

McCown was 67-years-old.

He had served as Lawrence County Common Pleas judge for ten years.

He also taught at Ohio University Southern.

McCown was very involved in the community, especially the long-running Memorial Day Parade in Ironton.

Judge McCown is survived by a wife and a son.
