The man accused of murdering a mother and her two little girls is fighting extradition back to Kentucky from West Virginia. Now, the governor of Kentucky will have to issue a warrant to get Robert Drown Jr.

Robert Drown Jr. from Kenova is accused of burglary, arson, rape and murder in the deaths of Jennifer Ison and her daughters Shannah and Marissa.

Their bodies were found in the rubble of a mobile home fire in Hitchins, Kentucky earlier this month. Police say Drown strangled Jennifer Ison.

10-year-old Shannah died of blunt force trauma to the head and 3-year-old Marissa died from the fire that police say Drown started.

He's also charged with raping one of the children, burglary and arson.

Prosecutors say they will seek the death penalty in this case. Right now, Drown is in the Western Regional Jail in Barboursville.

Drown's hearing is set for August 23.
