LESAGE, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A group that provides help for adults with developmental disabilities is using the holiday season to help keep their programs up and running.

ResCare hosted an arts and crafts fair in Lesage Saturday.

More than 20 vendors set up shop and all of the proceeds go to ResCare programs.

Program director Nikki Gibson says events like this are a great way to keep the community involved in the lives of those who need the most care.

Gibson says, "It's great! It not only gets the people who work for ResCare involved, but the parents who have loved ones here are involved in the planning and the vendors and booths. There's also parents who have booths here. So, its good everyone is coming together and working as a team."
