A teenager is under arrest, charged with making terrorist threats at his school in Jackson County, West Virginia.
Police tell us the 15-year old boy made threats on myspace.com regarding Ravenswood Middle. We're told the threats were specifically about the last day of school, which is this Wednesday.
Police tell us they first learned of the threat 4 to 5 weeks ago, but didn't make an arrest until Friday.
Ravenswood middle school is in semi-lockdown Monday, meaning the front door is locked -- and an officer is on duty at the school. The principal tells WSAZ only about 40% of the student body showed up this week, but wasn't sure if it was due to the threat.
The Jackson County School Board wants parents to know the school is safe and the situation is under control.
The boy, whose name is name is not being released, is being held in a juvenile detention facility.
