Beat the Stress

With water gurgling from a fountain and a candle burning, Aila Accad leads a small group through meditation to help them de-stress, about once a month in her Charleston area home.
She's been helping West Virginians relax and free themselves
from tension since 1984, when she moved here from Delaware. Though
she's a registered nurse, she's also a life coach, a speaker, a
counselor, a teacher and more.
At the urging of one of her meditation students, Accad has
recorded a six-CD set titled "Guided Meditations." Accad says the
CDs are intended to help people relax, reduce stress and increase
creative energy. She'll be discussing them at noon on June Eighth
at Taylor Books in Charleston.
