SCIOTO COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) -- A spokesperson for AEP in Ohio tells WSAZ.com that all power should be restored by 10:30 Sunday night.

Shelly Clark says an underground primary source that comes out from the station has suffered an equipment failure and needs replaced. In the meantime, she says, customers are being transferred to another source, restoring their power.

Clark says the majority of these customers' lights are now back on.

SCIOTO COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) -- It's lights out for a lot of folks in Scioto County Sunday night.

According to AEP's website, more than 900 homes in Scioto County are without power.

A voice message on AEP's answering machine said they expect the power to be back on by midnight Sunday.
