HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A couple who went Christmas shopping in someone else’s home is now in jail.
The Huntington Police Department says William Mattox of Chesapeake, Ohio and Stacy Nicole Mattox of Huntington broke into two apartments on Collis Avenue earlier this week.
An officer on patrol saw the couple opening the presents in a nearby alley and they fit the description of the robbers.
Among the items they are accused of taking are new computers, a digital camera, women's rings, cash and pills.
Both Mattox's are facing a number of charges.
