HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A little girl who relied on donations for Christmas was left with no presents under the tree after a thief broke into her home.
Parents of the 11-year-old child, whose name is Mariah, say someone came into their empty home and stole several items, including all the presents under the Christmas tree.
The stolen presents had been donated by a church.
The theft has left the family scrambling not only to figure out who did it, but how to replace gifts they couldn't afford anyway.

WSAZ NEEDS TO DO A FOLLOW UP INVESTIGATION ON THIS. FIND OUT IF THE DONATED GIFTS ACTUALLY WERE RECEIVED BY THE LITTLE GIRL. SURELY YOU HAVE AT LEAST ONE REPORTER THAT KNOWS HOW TO INVESTIGATE.

Why send anything at all considering the child is in foster care and the things that were stolen didnt exist in the first place. This is fraud. Scam. These ppl just want other ppl to spend out thier hard earned money so they dont have to spend thier welfare check. I know this first freakin hand. Noone even lives in the house because the mother doesnt even have electric. Find out who the foster family is and send it there. I believe the stuff will be sold for drug money
