UPDATE: 8-Year-Old Boy Reported Missing Found Safe

FAYETTE COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Conner Aaron Anderson, the 8-year-old boy reported missing Friday evening in Fayette County, has been found safe at a residence in Raleigh County, sheriff's deputies say.

Authorities say the Fayette and Raleigh County Sheriff's Offices and Child Protective Services are investigating the case.

FAYETTE COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- An 8-year-old boy is missing from the Pax area of Fayette County, according to information released Friday evening by the Fayette County Sheriff's Office.

Conner Aaron Anderson, 8, of Pax, was last seen about 5:30 p.m. Friday near his home at the Hunter Apartments.

He was last seen wearing a black Oakland Raiders baseball cap, a black T-shirt with an "angry birds" emblem on the front, dark-colored athletic pants and black-and-red tennis shoes with skulls on them.

Conner is about 4 feet, 2 inches tall and weighs about 49 pounds. He has short blond hair and blue eyes and wears eyeglasses with red frames.

Anyone with information about Conner's whereabouts is asked to call the Fayette County 911 at (304) 574-3590 or their local 911 center.
