Deputies Find Meth Lab In Putnam County Home
A woman is behind bars after deputies found a meth lab at her Bancroft home.

BANCROFT, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A woman is behind bars after deputies found a meth lab at her Bancroft home.

The Putnam County Sheriff's Department searched Angelica Evan's Bancroft home on Second Avenue Saturday night. They found what appeared to be materials used to make meth.

Evans is charged with attempting to operate a meth lab.

She is being held in the Western Regional Jail on a $50,000 bond.

YOU CANNOT TELL PEOPLE ADDICTED TO DRUGS ABOUT WHAT DRUGS DO TO YOU BECAUSE THEY THINK ONLY OF THAT NEXT HIGH....

For some reason, I doubt the deputies would arrest you for having these items in your home.. It is probably more like she had these items (and more) in an extreme excess!! Most of us do not have 20 boxes of cold pills in our home!! Also, homes that were used to make meth has a smell that most police officers know!! I don't think you can ever get rid of that smell.

Ok did they find a lab or materials that appear to be used for making meth,come on almost every house in Wva has the making of meth materials,If you have iodine a book of matches an empty pop bottle and cold pills you have what apperars to be materials for making meth and in many cases you will be charged if they dont find anything else to charge you with
