HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) – Three people were taken to the emergency room following a crash near the Huntington city limits Monday afternoon.

The accident happened at a traffic light on 5th Street Road near the Dairy Queen at about 2:45 p.m.

Police tell WSAZ.com that the driver of a car headed towards Huntington told them she didn’t see several cars stopped at the signal and slammed into those cars, and then went off the road into a ditch.

The driver, along with two people in the car that she hit, were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Traffic is moving very slowly in the area of the crash.

Snobs or Rednecks?? Does it really matter where someone is from? It's apparent that the driver was distracted by something. Regardless if the driver was from Wayne or Cabell County, they're at fault for not being aware of what was going on!!

true out wayner....are you really that stupid?? go back to elementary school and learn how to spell. and please, for the sake of everyone, stay in Wayne County and don't leave your home.

@true out wayner Are you serious? Do you just want to argue for the sake of arguing and call people "cabell snobers"? It IS the business of the police regarding how fast you go. When you drive like an idiot, accidents happen and people get hurt. Has nothing to do with "out wayners" or "cabell snobbers", as you so eloquently put it. Their job is to keep people from doing stupid things, to avoid THINGS EXACTLY LIKE THIS. It's not something you can defend, that's just idiocy.
