A high speed chase landed a woman in some deep trouble. It happened Monday morning at about 7:15 on the West Virginia Turnpike.

Troopers say Patricia Taylor of North Carolina refused to pull over -- and tried to get away at speeds up to 89 miles per hour.

State Police used spike strips to flatten three of Taylor's tires, but they say she kept going.

Troopers tell us they finally got her to stop near Beckley after she rammed one of the cruisers.

Taylor was taken to the hospital. She's facing a long list of charges including fleeing, property damage, speeding, illegal lane change, and more.

Troopers tell us Taylor's sister was also in the car. No word on the conditions of either women.
