Putnam County's smoking ban has only been in effect for six months, but both residents and business owners are already saying it's not a good idea.
It was a packed house Tuesday night in Winfield for a public hearing about the ban.
Everyone who took the podium spoke out against it, saying it was bad for business and a violation of rights.
People in the crowd were not shy to applaud and cheer to let the health board know how they felt.
Commissioners called the meeting after several businesses complained about the current smoking ban.
It prevents smoking in all public places including bars and restaurants.
Despite the hearing, no changes are planned to the current ban.
