It’s an ATV that is not just for thrills.
It could help save Mackenzie Confere’s life.
Sharon Johnson organized the event in Eastern Kanawha County.
“She just needs help with medical expenses and the community wanted to pull together and do something for her. “
“It's really hard because she's five. She shouldn't have to be going through this right now, but she does,” says Mandy Confere. She is Mackenzie’s Aunt.
Since April Mackenzie has had two rounds of chemotherapy with another one on the way. This disease is taking its toll on her physically.
It's an emotionally and financially draining ordeal for the whole family.
“Everything is very expensive. Eventually the money is going to run out. And she needs all the support she can have,” Confere says.
A financial burden ATV lovers are trying to drive away with this annual benefit ride.
