Raleigh County Delegate Ron Thompson says he will return to the Legislature.
Thompson is continuing to battle depression which has kept him from attending Legislative interim meetings since 2006.
He also missed the entire regular session this year.
His only appearance at the Capitol was on March 5th to be sworn into office.
Delegate Thompson told a Beckley newspaper that he's working himself back to be able to attend interim meetings.
The House declared his seat vacant in February, but a week later reversed the decision after Thompson's psychiatrist contacted the Speaker.
The Raleigh County Delegate has refused to collect a paycheck during his absence.
