Police say he shot and killed an intruder in his home back in march. Now, 24-year-old Jason Daniels is on the other side of the law after being indicted for drug trafficking.

A Greenup County grand jury charged Daniels with first, second and third-degree trafficking in controlled substances. Daniels, Erica Glockner and William Stevens were all arrested in April during a raid by the FIVCO Area Drug Enforcement Task Force at the Best Western hotel in Russell.

Police say all three purchased OxyContin from an police informant. Police also say Daniels and Glockner had Klonopin and Xanax on them, and planned on selling them.

Back in March, Daniels says he had to shoot and kill one of two men who broke into his home. Daniels says the two men claimed to be police officers, and tied him up while tearing through his house.
