One man is dead after two vehicles crashed on US 52. The Highway Patrol says Gregory R. Chapman of South Point, Ohio was killed in the accident.
Troopers say the accident happened at the intersection of US 52 and Township Road 268. Chapman was driving a motorcycle westbound on US 52 when a car driven by Joshua P. Childers of Coal Grove, Ohio pulled into his path. Childers was turning eastward onto US 52 from Twp. Rd. 268. Chapman’s motorcycle struck the left door of the car and he was ejected.
Chapman was transported to Kings Daughter’s Hospital in Ashland, Kentucky, where he was pronounced dead by the Boyd County Coroner. The crash is still under investigation.
