Families Escape Burning Building

Four families escape from their burning homes Thursday night.

The fire started around 11:30 p.m. at an apartment building in Huntington.

Firefighters are trying to determine if the fire was an accident or set by someone.

The apartment building on Third street, between 4th and 5th Avenue.

The fire started on the second floor.

Everyone got out okay, although some of them were actually asleep when the fire started and a knock at the door got them out of bed and away from the burning building.

The state fire marshal will be called in to investigate the fire.
