Police in Lawrence County, Ohio have made an arrest in a tobacco crime, but not the legal kind.
Virgil Reynolds was arrested last night on charges of trafficking marijuana. Police said they found nearly six pounds of pot in Reynolds' home and car.
Reynolds is 54 years old. His arraignment at Ironton municipal court is not yet determined
State police also shut down a major pot operation this week in rural Mason County.
Christopher Porter was arrested after police found a dozen pot plants growing inside his home. The plants were found Tuesday night inside his Layne Street home in New Haven.
State police said the plants have a street value of $24,000. This is the 7th marijuana arrest in Mason County this year.
