Kanawha Superintendent Receives High Marks

He's getting high marks for his work with your child's education. Kanawha County Superintendent Ron Duerring found out Monday what the school board thinks of his performance.

Board Members voted 4-to-1 that Duerring's work is highly commendable in reaching his goals.

Board Member Pete Thaw voted against it saying the county's meeting the academic goals, but he's disappointed with the operational aspects.
