Another day of testimony in the case of a hospital accused of hiring a doctor without proper credentials.
We're talking about Dr. John King who's accused of botching more than a hundred surgeries at Putnam General Hospital.
HCA, the company who owned Putnam General at the time, said it did everything required in hiring him, but a credential expert testified today HCA didn't thoroughly check his previous employers
“When he was at walker regional medical center, he was suspended related to anesthesiologist logs he resigned from that institution," Credential Expert Charles Pietrafzsa said.
Dozens of people who were treated by Dr. John King are suing HCA. The plaintiffs' testimony is expected to continue through this week.
