That storm hammered more than just Huntington. Across the river in Ohio, damage was just as severe.
It even caused part of the roof of a school to blow right off. Fairland Middle School in Proctorville
The school is just part a trail of destruction the storm caused throughout Lawrence County. Not far away, a car was crushed when high winds knocked a camper on top of it.
We won't know for several more hours if this storm qualified as a tornado, but some eyewitnesses say, their minds are already made up.
"It looks like it was just a line it was a line and at Foodfair my mother and another lady also saw the line they saw if at Foodfair," Stacy Mannon of Lawrence County said.
Despite the high winds, no serious injuries have been reported as a result of the storm.
